As a Northwest native, I love all that Seattle has to offer. The energy of the region is contagious. Seattle, like other great cities of the world, has distinct neighborhoods whose vibe is apparent even to a casual visitor. Seattle is known as the coffee capital of the world, and Washington wines have gained international attention. Wonderful West Seattle

Named as the "California of Seattle," West Seattle's Alki beach is the place to dig your toes into a truly sandy (no, not rocky!) beach. Whether you stay close to the shoreline, or venture up to California Ave., there are plenty of reasons to visit West Seattle.
